Con Neon Nights, Dannii Minogue ha querido hacer un tributo a todos los éxitos que han sacudido las discotecas en los últimos 25 años. Han colaborado Murlyn, sueco y productor de "Put the needle on it", el nuevo dúo francés Neimo y los británicos Ian Masterson y Terry Ronald.
Dannii ha buscado ideas en lo que han hecho otros grandes nombres del panorama musical mundial como Madonna. En el single, "Don't wanna lose this feeling", también se edita como rareza bajo el nombre de "Don't wanna lose this groove" e incluye el sampler del tema de Madonna "Into the Groove".
