Dark was the night

Arcade Fire, Dave Sitek, My Morning Jacket, Sufjan Stevens, Cat Power y Yo la tengo están entre los artistas que han contribuido en una nueva colección benéfica Red Hot. El álbum titulado Dark was the night, será lanzado el 16 de febrero, con el propósito de obtener dinero para combatir con el SIDA en todo el mundo.

Se incluirá una rareza de Arcade Fire, When Lenin was little, mientras que Dave Sitek de TV On The Radio ha versionado A girl like you para el disco.

También está incluida una colaboración entre Conor Oberst y Gillian Welch, en la canción Lua.

El álbum será doble con una parte más folk y otra más rock.
