El guitarrista Mark Tremonti y el vocalista Myles Kennedy comenzaron la preproducción en enero de 2022, para grabar en abril de nuevo con producción de Michael "Elvis" Baskette, quien ya se había encargado de esa tarea en los discos anteriores.
