Comentó el músico: "El 'parpadeo' del que hablo en la letra de 'Something like love' es esa llama que hace que una persona sea quien es. Quería encontrar eso en mí mismo, así que volví a mi yo adolescente, una técnica que aprendí en terapia y que he estado practicando desde entonces, y obtuve algunos consejos sobre cómo vivir y ser feliz en la década de 2020".
