Power es un adelanto del cuarto álbum de Ellie Goulding.
Ellie comenta sobre la canción: "Quería sacar este tema como adelanto de mi nuevo álbum para que todo el mundo lo supiera. Power trata de las relaciones en el siglo 21, de cuánto dependen del dictado de las redes sociales, de cómo las rigen las cosas materiales y la superficialidad. Las citas pueden empezar con mentiras o adornos. La chica de la canción está desilusionada con el amor y con la gente guapa, cruel y obsesionada consigo misma con la que termina relacionándose".
Lanzamiento y estreno del vídeo oficial el 21 de mayo de 2020. El audiovisual fue rodado por Ellie durante el aislamiento por el Covid-19 en su casa de Londres. El director creativo del video vía FaceTime fue el dúo Imogen Snell y Riccardo Castano de ISSTUDIO (Haim, Madonna, The XX), con un montaje de selfies mezclados con imágenes difuminadas de estética sensual.
