Finish line es la pista número 14 y uno de los avances del disco The lockdown sessions de Elton John (2021). Una canción con la colaboración de Stevie Wonder en voz, piano y armónica. Compuesta por Elton junto a Andrew Wotman, Ali Tamposi y Roman Campolo, con producción de Andrew Watt y coro de The Samples.
"No podría estar más orgulloso de 'Finish line'", comentó Elton sobre el tema. "La voz de Stevie es tan buena como puedo recordar haberlo escuchado; suena como un chico de 17 años de nuevo, está cantando con alegría y exuberancia en su voz. Andrew Watt ha hecho un trabajo increíble en la producción. Fue un proceso mágico". Continuó: "Siempre me ha gustado colaborar con Stevie, y estoy encantado de que después de 50 años de amistad finalmente podamos hacer un dueto completo. Siempre ha sido muy amable y dulce conmigo, y su talento se sale de la regla. Cuando escuchas lo que hace vocal e instrumentalmente en 'Finish line', piensas que esto es un verdadero genio".
Stevie Wonder agregó: "¡Es un placer y un honor cantar, tocar el piano y la armónica para Elton!. ¡Realmente ha sido uno de los grandes espíritus de la música, la vida, la amistad y el amor, a quien he conocido en este viaje de vida!.
