The sweet escape

The sweet escape es el título del segundo disco en solitario de Gwen Stefani.

El primer single es Wind it up, un tema producido por The Neptunes. El videoclip dirigido por Sophie Muller, con quien ya ha colaborado anteriormente. Otras colaboradores son Akon, Tony Kanal, Nellee Hooper, Sean Garrett, Swizz Beatz, Dave Stewart y el teclista de Keane, Tim Rice-Oxley.

"Este álbum es muy diferente del anterior. Empecé a grabarlo a finales del año pasado antes del nacimiento de mi hijo Kingston y he estado trabajando en ello durante el último año. El sonido dance es muy actual. Es moderno... no demasiado retro", comenta la artista.

Algunos de los temas del álbum no fueron incluidos en su debut en solitario, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby", y también hay algunos nuevos que ha hecho junto a Pharrell. Hay mucho de Pharrell en este disco, según Gwen.
