"Una vez que decidimos que íbamos a hacer rock de los 80, había algo en él que tenía mucho de McFly. Concepto elevado, guitarras en primer plano, colorido. Es todo lo que siempre nos ha gustado de la música y de lo que hacemos con este grupo. Es una canción de rock fiestero en el fondo, pero su semilla fue que si hubiera un dios del rock and roll, sin duda le estaríamos adorando. Mucho de eso vino de ir a conciertos nosotros mismos. Todos fuimos a ver a Green Day, Fall Out Boy y Weezer el año pasado y ver que tanta gente había acudido al mismo sitio para disfrutar de la música rock fue increíble. La música rock celebra la vida y la diversión, y parece que todos nos hemos visto privados de eso durante mucho tiempo".
