Gadigal land es una canción de Midnight Oil. Toma su nombre de los dueños originarios de Sidney, muchos de los cuales continúan viviendo en la ciudad. Las tierras Gadigal (también a veces escrito "Cadigal") incluyen lo que es el centro de Sídney y áreas que abarcan desde South Head hasta el oeste interior. 'Gadigal land' es un provocativo relato de lo que sucedió en este lugar y en otros sitios de Australia desde 1788.
Es el primer single completamente nuevo del grupo en casi 20 años. Presenta colaboraciones especiales de los vocalistas Kaleena Briggs, Bunna Lawrie y Dan Sultan y una sección escrita y presentada por el poeta de Gadigal Joel Davison. Como todas las nuevas grabaciones de la banda, fue producida por el colaborador habitual Warne Livesey, que también estuvo al mando en los álbumes de Midnight Oil: DIESEL & DUST, BLUE SKY MINING y CAPRICORNIA.
Lanzamiento 7 de agosto de 2020. La noche siguiente se estrena a nivel mundial un vídeo especial "en estudio" de la canción durante la emisión en la cadena NITV de los Premios Nacionales de Música Indígena (NIMA, en inglés) a partir de las 7pm (Hora estándar de Australia oriental); se transmite además de forma simultánea en Australia a través de Double J, National Indigenous Radio Service, TEABBA, Facebook, Youtube y Twitter.
