Dead inside es el primer single oficial y la canción de apertura de Drones (2015), un álbum de estudio de Muse.
Matt Bellamy comenta: "Es aquí donde comienza la historia del álbum, donde el protagonista pierde la esperanza y se muere por dentro (Dead inside), se vuelve vulnerable a las fuerzas oscuras introducidas en Psycho que continúan en las siguientes canciones del álbum, hasta finalmente superarlas".
