Dirty rat con la colaboración de Sleaford Mods es la séptima pista y primer avance del álbum Optical delusion de Orbital (2023).
"Esta pista es una letra mayúscula gigante", comentó Paul Hartnoll de Orbital. "Como en el 'Libro de Kells', donde la primera letra siempre recibe el gran tratamiento del monje cuando está haciendo sus bordes ilustrados. Tiene esa vibra de música dance de la vieja escuela con fragmentos de Cabaret Voltaire, incluso fragmentos de 'The Shamen'. Es un poco punk rock, agradable y ruidoso. Una pista realmente refrescante, tipo 'despertar'. ¡Y Jason es simplemente brillante!".
"Supongo que se trata de decirle a la gente que asuma la responsabilidad de sus propias acciones", agregó Phil Hartnoll. "Sabes, todos estos políticos no vienen de la nada. Alguien sigue votándolos. Entonces, ¿quién podría ser...?".
