The rip es la undécima pista y el segundo avance del disco Waterslide, diving board, ladder to the sky de Porridge Radio (2022).
"Queríamos que sonara como pop masivo, como Charli XCX, pero con la instrumentación de bandas como Slothrust o Deftones", comentó la líder Dana Margolin. "Al principio era una canción sobre una dinámica de poder en la que yo tenía el control, al final se trataba de una en la que no tenía ninguno... Quería que se sintiera como si tu alma se estuviera saliendo de tu cuerpo".
La canción cuenta con un video musical dirigido por la hermana de Dana, Ella Margolin, al igual que el anterior para 'Back to the radio'. Estreno 7 de abril de 2022.
