Alive es el primer single oficial de This is acting (2016), un álbum de Sia. Un tema en principio que iba a ser para Adele, quien aparece en los créditos de composición junto a Tobias Jesso, Jr., y la propia Sia. Con producción de Jesse Shatkin.
Lanzamiento en formato digital programado para el 25 de septiembre de 2015. Estreno el día anterior.
Con un videoclip dirigido por la propia artista junto a Daniel Askill, el mismo equipo creativo que realizó los vídeos de Chandelier, Elastic heart y Big girls cry. Protagonizado por la actriz/bailarina Mahiro Takano, fue rodado en Chiba, Japón. Estrenado el 5 de noviembre de 2015.
Alive remixes incluye versiones de la canción a cargo de Maya Jane Coles, AFSHeeN, Boehm, Plastic Plates, y Cahill.
