El show de una hora de duración producido por Door Knocker Media y Seed Entertainment, incluyó participaciones especiales de Judd Apatow, Bradley Cooper, Laura Dern, Billie Eilish, Chris Hemsworth, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, Gaten Matarazzo, Luis “King Kong” Ortiz, Adam Sandler, Jill Vedder y Renée Zellweger, y actuaciones musicales motivadoras de Jon Batiste, Alessia Cara, Andra Day, Glen Hansard, Adam Levine, Keb' Mo', Lukas, Micah y Willie Nelson y Eddie Vedder.
EB es un desorden genético que afecta aproximadamente a 500.000 personas en todo el mundo. Se les llama "Niños Mariposa" porque su piel es tan frágil como las alas de una mariposa, los niños EB sufren dolor severo, con heridas abiertas internas y externas, y dolorosos procesos diarios de vendaje. No hay tratamiento para curar la EB, sin embargo el innovador modelo filantrópico de EBRP no solo acelera el proceso para encontrar un remedio sino que permite hallar raras para otras enfermedades raras.
EBRP es la mayor organización global que financia la investigación en la lucha contra la EB y ha financiado 80 proyectos con un innovador modelo que tiene un impacto directo en el sector clínico. Gracias al trabajo de EBRP los experimentos sobre EB se han incrementado 15 veces, incluyendo 4 Fases 3, el ultimo estadio para que la FDA considere aprobar una nueva terapia.
