Me and my broken heart es el single oficial de presentación de un cuarteto de Manchester llamado Rixton. Se anuncia que "ofrecen una riqueza de pop adictivo construido sobre su propio estilo de composición, instrumentación y puro talento vocal". Liderados por el vocalista y guitarra rítmico Jake Roche, el primer guitarra y vocalista Charley Bagnall, el bajista/teclista/vocalista Danny Wilkin y el batería y vocalista Lewi Morgan "crean canciones súper bailables, con un irresistible encanto pop".
La banda captó la atención de la audiencia en USA y en el resto del mundo con el videoclip de "Make out". Cuya parodia ácida, bienintencionada, de grandes estrellas del pop incluía una toma de Jake cantando desnudo sobre una bola de derribo al estilo de a Miley Cyrus, Danny retando a Rihanna en una bañera llena de cebollas crudas, Lewi con un taparrabos dando la mejor impresión a lo Katy Perry y Charley posando como Lady Gaga vestido con bolsas de basura hinchadas.
Rixton han trabajado de la mano de Benny Blanco a la producción (Maroon 5, Katy Perry). Se han subido a los escenarios americanos como teloneros de Ariana Grande en L.A.
