Tras quedar en el 2º puesto del Festival de Eurovisión 2014, The Common Linnets, los representantes holandeses, triunfan en toda Europa con su canción Calm after the storm.

Ilse DeLange y Waylon son el dúo holandés The Common Linnets. Estos dos compositores y cantantes, comenzaron a trabajar juntos por su amor a la música country. A finales de 2013, el dúo anunciaba su participación en el Festival de Eurovisión en Copenhague con la canción Calm after the storm.
