It's on again es la canción principal de la banda sonora de la película The amazing spider-man 2. Una canción interpretada por Alicia Keys, con la participación de Kendrick Lamar, compuesta por Pharrell Williams, Keys, Hans Zimmer, y Lamar, y producida por Pharrell.
Marc Webb, el director del filme, aseguró: "Estábamos buscando la canción idónea para cerrar la película - un tema alegre y emocionante pero con un toque de premonición. La canción de Alicia, 'It's on again', supone el cierre perfecto. En cuanto a la composición musical del filme, debo decir que me asombra descubrir lo que fueron capaces de hacer musicalmente Hans Zimmer y Magnificent Six. Cada director desea que su película tenga un sonido único pero esto es más que único. No tiene nada que ver con las bandas sonoras anteriores".
Keys: "Estoy feliz de formar parte de una colaboración tan potente con Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams y Hans Zimmer. Este es el nuevo capítulo del legado de Spider-Man y realmente sentimos que 'It's on again' capta la experiencia, la historia y, lo que es aún más importante, el significado que encierra la película: que todos tenemos el potencial de ser extraordinarios. Hay un poco de superhéroe en cada uno de nosotros".
Zimmer: "Cuando unimos fuerzas como equipo para crear la música de la película hicimos lo contrario a lo que los compositores suelen hacer: escribimos las canciones y de ellas surgieron los temas. Incorporamos un sabor un poco rock-and-roll en la película y valió la pena".
Williams: "Hans ha creado un sonido icónico y fue estupendo colaborar con él nuevamente en esta canción. Cuando compuse la canción supe que Alicia y Kendrick tendrían que formar parte de ella. Ellos la elevan a otro nivel".
